Who is pouring, where and when

Festivals, farmers markets, cuppings and release days: the places where you can taste several roasters in one visit. These guides list the roasters at each, drawn from their own product pages: what they roast, where their café is, and what a bag costs by the pound.

Why a guide

An event's own site publishes a list of names and little else. By the fourth table every cup starts to blur, and the roaster you meant to go back to is the one you cannot name on Monday. Arosti is a free iPhone app that learns your taste from the coffees you rate; at a festival it is a notebook that also tells you, later, which of those roasters fit you best. You do not need the app to use these guides.
