Philly Coffee Festival 2026: the roasters, and what they roast
Oct 17–18, 2026 · 23rd Street Armory, Philadelphia, PA
19 roasters are pouring at 23rd Street Armory on Oct 17–18. This page lists each of them with what they roast, where their café is and what a bag costs, so you can plan which tables to visit and remember what you tasted.
Published by Arosti, a free iPhone app that learns your taste from the coffees you rate. Exhibitor list as published by the organizer, last checked October 16, 2026; exhibitors can change.
What it is
The Philly Coffee Festival (3rd annual) takes place Oct 17–18, 2026, at 23rd Street Armory in Philadelphia.
Each day has a morning session (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and an afternoon session (1:30 to 4:30 p.m.), with early admission from 9 a.m.
Tastings are included with admission, with food sold on site, tea and live music.
Tickets, session times and the organizer's own exhibitor list are at www.phillycoffeefestival.com.
How to taste twenty coffees and remember the ones you loved
Before you go
Install Arosti and name a coffee you already love. Rate whatever you drink this week. Each rating sharpens what the app predicts for you on the day, and about five is where predictions firm up. Create an account so the ratings you make at the festival are kept if you change phones.
At the festival
Scan the bag if you can, so your journal keeps a picture of it, or search the roaster and tap the coffee. Either way, slide the rating while the cup is in your hand. Scanning needs a connection and the hall can be slow; search and rating work offline.
After
Your journal holds every coffee you rated, where you tried it and what you paid. The ones you loved carry a buy link to the roaster. The ones you did not love are worth keeping too: a dislike is what gives your profile its edges.
The roasters
Alphabetical. Every coffee each roaster lists publicly is here with the roaster's own tasting notes, drawn from their product pages, along with their hometown, the roast range of the line, their own café where they have one, and the lowest list price per pound with the month it was read. Which of these they pour on the day is theirs to decide, and we are as curious as you are.

First time at a coffee festival
- Arrive at the start of your session. The first hour has the shortest lines.
- Taste light roasts before dark ones. A dark roast resets your palate for a while.
- Drink water between tables. Twenty small cups is a lot of coffee.
- Ask the roaster what they brew at home. The answer is usually the bag worth buying.
- Write down, or rate, every cup while it is in your hand. By the fourth table they blur together.
- Bring a tote. Festival pricing on bags is often the best you will see from that roaster.
Questions
- When is the Philly Coffee Festival 2026?
- October 17, 2026 and October 18, 2026, at 23rd Street Armory, 22 S 23rd St, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
- How do the sessions and tickets work?
- Each day has a morning session (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and an afternoon session (1:30 to 4:30 p.m.), with early admission from 9 a.m. Current times and prices are on the organizer's site.
- Are tastings included?
- Tastings are included with admission, with food sold on site, tea and live music.
- Which roasters are pouring?
- The list above names every roaster on the organizer's exhibitor list as of October 16, 2026, each described from their own product pages. Organizers note that exhibitors can change.
- Do I need the app to use this page?
- No. These guides stand on their own. The app adds a record of what you tasted and how well each coffee fits your taste, which is the part that helps after the weekend.
- Should I scan bags at the festival?
- It is worth trying: a scan puts a picture of the bag in your journal. Scanning needs a connection, and cell service in a crowded hall can be poor, so if a scan stalls, search for the coffee by roaster instead. Search and rating work offline once the app is installed.
